Logs

Logs are the journal for your finance gols in Gollog. Each entry can change balance, target, both, or neither. Related: Gols · Overview

What a log can do​

Common actions include:

  • Change balance (spend, deposit, payment toward a Resolve gol, and similar)
  • Change target
  • Leave a marker (note with no money change)
  • Adjust deadlines or equate-style plan fixes where the product allows them

Exact action names in the UI follow the product catalog; this page describes the idea.

Creating and editing​

Use Create log from the shell or from a gol. Pick the gol, action, amounts, date, and optional tags. Edit or delete from the logs list or from detail panels.

Amounts use your preferred display currency for symbols only — Gollog does not convert foreign exchange.

Tags​

Tag logs to filter and scan later. Free plans cap how many tags you can keep; Pro lifts that cap. See Settings and Billing.

Repeating logs​

Repeating (scheduled) logs are a Pro feature. Free users still see the control; using it requires Pro. Materialised entries appear in the logs feed like one-off logs, with series filters when you open schedule tools.

Filters​

On Logs, filter by gol, tags, series, and date range so you can find a single change without scrolling the whole journal.
